Suri Cruise Style: Salvatore Ferragamo Sofia Mini Bag
I love this. Birthday Girl Jennifer Love Hewitt celebrating her 31st Birthday with friends. Can you guess the theme?Dressed in a Lady GaGa-inspired look, the birthday bash was complete with her closest friends minus boyfriend Jamie Kennedy, plus her everyday favorite go-to purse, the Louis Vuitton Monogram Speedy. Honestly, I would have went with something a little bit more outrageous (in a good way) to go with her spunky 80′s ish outfit. Possibly a clutch by Alexander McQueen? Bag by Betsey Johnson? Just not the classic Louis Vuitton monogram — Jennifer you’re killing the classic appeal.Find Louis Vuitton handbags for a steal. Authentic Louis Vuitton Speedy’s can be found on auction powerhouse, eBay (speedy page). Be aware of the fakes though! Get them authenticated over at TheBagForum!picture: The Celebrity City
When I was three, the most fabulous gift my parents bought me was a battery operated Power Wheels pink Barbie Jeep, and boy was I grateful for that. As the years when by, I grew out of my “first vehicle” and no more attention it received. When your parents are Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, your lifestyle consists of pricey gifts and luxuries practically everyday. Check out Little Miss Suri Cruise and the latest accessory to hit her toy box. The pintsize celebrity tot was photographed in daddy’s arms carrying a miniature sized Sofia bag by Salvatore Ferragamo. Where does Suri get her fabulous style from? We’re pointing fingers at Fashionista momma Katie Holmes of course; just take a look at how she’s sporting the original Sofia satchel in arms as well.Whether you agree or disagree on a three year old owning her very own $850 designer handbag, you simply can’t deny the fact that Suri Cruise is absolutely adorable and we might just be a little bit jealous! Jimmy Choo Charity Project Pep Clutch
Do any of you ladies remember the Jimmy Choo Project Pep Tote? My good ol’ buddy Marissa wrote about it back in October.To be honest, I felt as though the bag had been ripped on a bit too harshly. After all, the bag was produced for the purpose of benefiting the Elton John AIDS Foundation.Admittedly, the Jimmy Choo Project Pep Tote is a bit flashy and loud. It is definitely not for the faint of heart. But from what I was reading in the blog comments section, it appeared that there were quite a few people out there that liked the bag and felt that it was donating to a good cause. But what if you liked the bag, but you thought the collage look was just a little too over-the-top for everyday use? Well fear not, my friends! The Jimmy Choo Project Pep Collection also included a clutch! This lovely piece features a montage of colorful prints and images, including an adorable depiction of faux badge buttons on the back side. I really like the Jimmy Choo Project Pep Clutch because it is spunky and fun. And since it is much smaller than a tote, its wacky print doesn’t seem quite so overpowering. However, I would definitely suggest this as a nighttime-only bag!Find the Jimmy Choo Charity Project Pep Clutch: Net-a-Porter, Luisaviaroma!The clutch retails for approximately $615, but remember 25% of the proceeds will be going to the Elton John AIDS Foundation and will help women in South Africa to receive treatment for Post Exposure Prophylaxis.The Chat: projet pep!

Help my bag has fallen!An unfortunate situation. While on her way to attend a party at The Whisper Lounge in L.A., curvaceous socialite, Kim Kardashian dropped her designer clutch! And of course, rather than bend over in her skin tight mini leopard print dress (which the paparazzi would have a field day with), she yelled for help. Moments later, a staff member came to the rescue.images: splash

Prada Handbags & Purses
Jessica Szohr was out and about in New York City on Wednesday. The Gossip Girl had just finished paying a visit to Regis and Kelly! For the occasion, Jessica was dressed from head to toe in crisp white attire. She accented her look with some very dramatic earrings (Wow, just look at those things!) and a navy blue handbag. But wait, isn’t that the Rebecca Minkoff Heavy Metal Flame Satchel? Well… not exactly. It is actually the Linear Stud Flame from last year. But this year’s version (the Heavy Metal Flame) is just as gorgeous! I just love that stud-encrusted look! And Rebecca Minkoff does it so well, not too chunky and a little bit feminine. I also love the delicate tassels and Speedy-like shape. It looks simply stunning showcased with Jessica’s otherwise monochromatic outfit, but you could wear this bag with just about anything! This would make a great everyday handbag for this upcoming Fall! Find the Rebecca Minkoff Heavy Metal Flame Satchel at RebeccaMinkoff! image:people
Prada Eco Mongolia Garden Toteby Deysa DiazJun 28, 2011 The Italian Couture House of Prada has a new furry suggestion to carry on arm. Ditch the fussy puppy and if you dare, give this fuzzy handbag a try – the Prada Eco Mongolia Garden Tote. So much furry disorder is going on in this piece. It looks like something I wouldn’t typically look at twice, but upon further inspection of this piece, one unexpected detail caught my attention.What looks like an orb of exotic fur actually claims to be eco friendly, that is; the tote is made of faux fur. Quite a surprise as Prada is known to compose some very exotic pieces with fine furs in past collections. If you’re a fur advocate you may dislike the faux fur feel, while a fur activist who dares to wear something out of their ordinary taste, could actually sport this, guilt free. Prada Madras Bagsby Kimberly MarneyJun 14, 2011 Madras, plaids of every color for spring and summer is the pattern of vacations, resortwear and summery attire. One would not think it was appropriate for Fall, but leave it to Prada to find a way to make it so!Crafted of solid color and two-tone finely woven leather, Prada has created a line of Madras bags lustworthy of any bag lover. If you are a woven bag fan (like me) you will feel like you’ve been hit by Cupid when you see and feel these bags! The leathers are finely woven in India, then sent to Italy for final fabrication. These bags feature weaving all over the bag and straps. Various styles perfect for individual tastes!

Lodis Grateful Glam Diva Clutch
Brazilian beauty Alessandra Ambrosio headed to lunch in Beverly Hills with daughter Anja wearing Black Orchid’s “Black Jewel Jegging” in Mist wash (avail at RevolveClothing), a loose fit red top, black scarf, and accessorized with Dolce & Gabbana’s Miss Sicily Bag.The D&G is such a fabulous choice for the stylish mom. And right now you can find it on sale for $1,220 over on Bluefly, that is if you’re still in the mood for white crochet. If you’re done with white bags for now, Nordstrom has a great selection of newer versions in stock, like black lace. (oooh my gosh, the lace is gorgeous!)#gallery-2 {margin: auto;}#gallery-2 .gallery-item {float: left;margin-top: 10px;text-align: center;width: 33%;}#gallery-2 img {border: 2px solid #cfcfcf;}#gallery-2 .gallery-caption {margin-left: 0;}
Tie-dye made a brief appearance during this past year. It appeared mostly in clothing and it was quite subdued, nothing like the psychedelics of my mom’s hippie days. Personally, I loved this trend and I still do! If you missed out before, I don’t think it is too late to partake in a little tie-dye. There are still plenty of lovely pieces out there and some of them aren’t even clothing! Take the Lodis Grateful Glam Diva Clutch, for example! But wait, I thought these new tie-dyes were non-psychedelic. So why am I envisioning little Grateful Dead bears marching across the screen? Perhaps using the word “grateful” wasn’t the best choice in this situation. And the mere mentioning of the Grateful Dead really makes me sound old!All kidding aside, the Lodis Grateful Glam Diva Clutch is a very attractive piece! Recently, Lodis has been giving the whole handbag thing a try. Their small leather goods, however, are still (in my opinion) their best creations! This lovely framed clutch is slim and sleek. It would make a great casual evening clutch, but it could easily double as a large wallet (it has tons of credit card slots inside). Just imagine opening up your neutral handbag to find a colorful tie-dye surprise inside! Talk about brightening up a dreary day!Find the Lodis Grateful Glam Diva Clutch at CoutureCandy!**15% OFF. I am in love with Katherine Kwei handbags (and no, this isn’t my first time saying it)! Over the years, I have drooled over quite a few styles from this designer and I just cannot get over how beautiful they all are! The signature Chinese eternity knots are exquisite, while the mounds of fringe are full and fun. What’s not to like? But it looks like Katherine Kwei has been exploring other avenues. Check out this Katherine Kwei Kate Carry All! That’s right, no fringe here!There is certainly nothing wrong though with this fringe-less piece. In fact, I think it’s nice when a designer tries something new. You will notice, however, that she kept the eternity knot detail (although it is much more subtle). What I find interesting about this bag, however, is the croc embossed leather. Or, at least, what is described as croc embossed. It looks more like plant cells to me, minus the nuclei. It definitely adds some interest to this piece and I think it’s great Katherine Kwei has given the python thing a little rest. This black and silver number would be perfect for the Fall/Winter season. And, with it’s expandable sides, it would be perfect for work or play!Discover the Katherine Kwei Kate Carry All at MuseTen!#gallery-2 {margin: auto;}#gallery-2 .gallery-item {float: left;margin-top: 10px;text-align: center;width: 33%;}#gallery-2 img {border: 2px solid #cfcfcf;}#gallery-2 .gallery-caption {margin-left: 0;}

Rebecca Minkoff Swing
I would like to introduce to you the Rebecca Minkoff Swing Pouchette! Whoa… wait a minute! Rebecca Minkoff? Yes, you heard right. Although it doesn’t look like it, this interesting-looking bag is made by the same designer who brought us the Morning After Bag. I guess she was going for a Wild West look! But I won’t brush is aside quite yet. Rebecca Minkoff is still one of my favorite designers, so I feel like I should at least give this bag a chance.When it comes to fringe on handbags, I always say the more the merrier. But for some reason, I’m not really feeling the fringe on this bag. I hate to say it, but it reminds me of my mom’s fringe jacket that has been sitting in the closet (untouched) since her hippie days. The drawstring closure also seems to bug me a bit. It reminds me of a man’s lariat necktie. I will admit though, the star engraved on the slide adjuster is kind of cute. Also, the overall pouch shape is something I find quite appealing. After all, the pouch was such a hot style this last Fall! So if you’re feeling a bit cowgirl-ish, then this unusual creation from Rebecca Minkoff might be just the thing for you!Discover the Rebecca Minkoff Swing Pouchette at ShopBop!
