If you are going to buy a very expensive piece of jewelry, buy something that will last you for years. The more expensive a piece of jewelry is usually means it is higher quality. Marc Jacobs Studded Stardust Cecilia Satchel

Marc Jacobs has done it again by bringing us another beautiful Cecilia Satchel. This time the satchel is purple and studded. The bag is absolutely gorgeous, but it would of been better if I discovered this bad when the “stud trend” was at it’s height. I’ve always said though, not to follow trends and wear whatever you want at any moment. If you love studs, then you most likely will love this purse.I love this bag, but I think if it came in black with gold studs it would look even more fabulous! Plus, you can match a black handbag with just about anything, whereas you can’t with purple.I think the style and shape of this bag are absolutely amazing, but looks can be deceiving. By looking at the picture of the handbag, I would think that the bag is pretty big, and spacious. When in reality, as soon as you turn the bag to the side you can see how it’s not very wide. It’s obvious you wouldn’t be able to fit much of anything in this bag. Perhaps you could fit your keys, makeup bag, wallet and I’m not sure what else. Oh how I anticipate my summer vacation this year! Guess who’s the lucky pop singer spotted vacationing in St. Tropez with her friend/supermodel Kate Moss + fam.? It’s the one and only Lily Allen. I adore her extra cute beach accessories of red wafer sunnies and pink jelly slip-on’s Lily was spotted wearing. Fendi Skunk Fur Peekaboo Roll Bag

Anyone up for a skunk fur leather bag? Umm… no thank you. I apologize to any fans of this particular bag, but I’m morbidly shocked at how horrid this handbag is. Did the House of Fendi seriously have to ‘kill’ (no pun intended) the classic look of its latest Peekaboo tote by throwing on a pelt of skunk fur onto this bag? If they sought to create a classy rich leather bag adored in an exotic choice of fur, I say they failed miserably. Besides the not so attractive furry bag appearance, I can’t decide if I dislike this bag for the fact that’s it’s sporting a dead skunk on it or because it’s made out of skunk! Right off the bat, there’s an unattractive feeling towards this bag filled with reminders of how bad skunks really do smell. Do any of you ladies remember the Jimmy Choo Project Pep Tote? My good ol’ buddy Marissa wrote about it back in October.To be honest, I felt as though the bag had been ripped on a bit too harshly. After all, the bag was produced for the purpose of benefiting the Elton John AIDS Foundation.Admittedly, the Jimmy Choo Project Pep Tote is a bit flashy and loud. It is definitely not for the faint of heart. But from what I was reading in the blog comments section, it appeared that there were quite a few people out there that liked the bag and felt that it was donating to a good cause. But what if you liked the bag, but you thought the collage look was just a little too over-the-top for everyday use? Well fear not, my friends! The Jimmy Choo Project Pep Collection also included a clutch! This lovely piece features a montage of colorful prints and images, including an adorable depiction of faux badge buttons on the back side. I really like the Jimmy Choo Project Pep Clutch because it is spunky and fun. And since it is much smaller than a tote, its wacky print doesn’t seem quite so overpowering. However, I do love looking at all the fabulous iPhone cases that are out now. You name it, everything was trying to jump on the highlighter hue bandwagon. I believe Crayola even came out with some neon crayons. If I remember right though, they didn’t work very well when you tried to color with them. It was like the wax was too hard or something. But like many trends of the 1990s, this one quickly became a distant memory. And those crummy crayons? I think those went in the trash. Now here we are nearly 20 years later and suddenly the highlighter hues are making a bit of a come back. It started a couple of years ago with Marc Jacobs. Good old Marc is pretty quirky, so I didn’t give it a second thought. Recently though, other designers have been picking up on the idea. Now handbags in highlighter hues are turning up practically everywhere. Admittedly, I wasn’t totally on board in the beginning. But after seeing some pieces from my favorite designers, I have started to warm up to the idea. These handbags are definitely not for the faint of heart! Jessica Szohr was out and about in New York City on Wednesday. The Gossip Girl had just finished paying a visit to Regis and Kelly! For the occasion, Jessica was dressed from head to toe in crisp white attire. She accented her look with some very dramatic earrings (Wow, just look at those things!) and a navy blue handbag. But wait, isn’t that the Rebecca Minkoff Heavy Metal Flame Satchel? Well… not exactly. It is actually the Linear Stud Flame from last year. But this year’s version (the Heavy Metal Flame) is just as gorgeous! I just love that stud-encrusted look! And Rebecca Minkoff does it so well, not too chunky and a little bit feminine. I also love the delicate tassels and Speedy-like shape. It looks simply stunning showcased with Jessica’s otherwise monochromatic outfit, but you could wear this bag with just about anything! Tie-dye made a brief appearance during this past year. It appeared mostly in clothing and it was quite subdued, nothing like the psychedelics of my mom’s hippie days. Personally, I loved this trend and I still do! If you missed out before, I don’t think it is too late to partake in a little tie-dye.
